Mother's Day at the ministry
Mother’s Day at the Seafarers Ministry of Miami - we honored visiting moms with a simple yet meaningful gift—a red rose. Their smiles lit up the room, reminding us that even small gestures can carry a powerful message: you are seen, appreciated, and celebrated. We exist to serve those around us and we provide assistance and help through our non-profit.

A Sailor's Honesty Shines in Downtown Miami
At PortMiami Seafarers Ministry, a nonprofit) we help seafarers and they also help each other. Recently, a regular visitor to our ministry, lost his wallet in downtown Miami, with lots of cash and important documents, he was heartbroken but held onto hope. With no time to search, we prayed for a miracle. That miracle came through Holly, a young British seafarer and fellow Christian, who found the wallet and made sure it was returned safely to our Hospitality Center. Kiran’s joyful testimony of recovery moved everyone present and reminded us all of the honesty, compassion, and solidarity that still shine brightly in the seafaring world.

Equipping Seafarers to Lead and Serve at Sea
The International Seafarers Ministry supports onboard leaders who host prayer and Bible study groups by providing essential resources such as books, tracts, Bibles, videos, and even musical instruments for their gatherings. This support not only helps equip leaders for their ministry but also encourages them to keep growing in their service and preparing others for their time off.
Looking Back with Gratitude: A Year of Growth and Service
Looking back on 2024, we are humbled by what has been accomplished. It wasn’t without challenges, but with God’s guidance and the support of our amazing volunteers and generous sponsors, we accomplished great things. From the annual gala on the amazing Icon of the Seas, to the annual PMI conference being held in our beautiful city of Miami, to an eventful and fun Holiday season, when we distributed over 600 gifts to seafarers and crew members.
Christmas at PortMiami
Miami Seafarers Port Ministry organizes a heartfelt gift-giving program for the seafarers and cargo ships that visit our port. The holidays can be especially tough for sailors, who spend months away from their loved ones, navigating the open seas. If you want to donate, ISM port ministry needs your support
