Your participation is more than admission to a special event—it is a meaningful contribution to the mission and work of the International Seafarer Ministry of Miami. Your support helps us touch the lives of seafarers, their families, and even port employees and passengers while sharing the love of Jesus throughout the world.

Together, we will celebrate and reflect upon a remarkable year of ministry, service, and meaningful impact.

Each year, our hospitality center welcomes and serves many tens of thousands of seafarers from both cruise and cargo ships from around the world through Christian hospitality, pastoral care, prayer, ship visits, practical assistance, and personal encouragement. Though we primarily serve seafarers, we also provide care and spiritual support to port employees, and even passengers—including those who come to us for prayer before boarding their ships.

Our ministry serves within a maritime community connecting nearly 3 million seafarers and 8.5 million passengers each year. At PortMiami, we are a recognized and trusted presence—a lighthouse of hope and hospitality.

Our influence extends far beyond the Port. Our reach even extends far and wide through our Church at Sea program, fellowships aboard many cruise ships through which we extend our love and care to seafarers who can’t leave the ship. Through the seafarers we serve, we share the love of Jesus and Christian hospitality with thousands of families and communities across cultures, nations, and oceans.

Join us as we celebrate the lives touched, the relationships built, and the accomplishments made possible through the generosity and commitment of our partners and supporters.

Your meaningful participation helps us reach and impact millions of people—spreading hope, extending Christian hospitality, and sharing the love of Jesus across the world.

Important Information for the Day of the Gala

Guest Arrival Time

All guests must arrive at Royal Caribbean Garage K no later than 10:00 a.m.

Please arrive early enough to park, locate the designated shuttle area, and complete any necessary check-in procedures.

Important Note: We strongly recommend using the Port Boulevard Bridge rather than the PortMiami Tunnel. The tunnel exits farther inside the Port, which may make it much more difficult to reach Garage K.

If You Arrive Late: Guests who miss the complimentary shuttle must drive directly to Royal Caribbean’s Terminal A at PortMiami and arrange their own paid parking at the nearest available public parking facility.

Garage A
2000 N. Cruise Boulevard
Miami, FL 33132
Estimated parking cost: $25–$35 at the guest’s expense

*Please understand that boarding is strictly time-sensitive. Once all registered guests have boarded and access to the ship has closed, no additional guests will be permitted to board, even if they have already registered or purchased admission.

Complimentary Parking

Complimentary parking will be provided for all Gala guests at:

Royal Caribbean Garage K

For the most convenient access, we recommend entering PortMiami via the Port Boulevard Bridge, located next to Bayside Marketplace. Garage K is located toward the end of Port Boulevard after crossing the bridge. Please follow the signs for Garage K and the directions provided by parking and event personnel.

Shuttle Transportation

Complimentary shuttle buses will depart Garage K promptly at 10:15 a.m. and transport all registered guests to Cruise Terminal A.

Because access to the ship is carefully coordinated, the shuttles must depart on schedule. Guests who arrive late may be unable to attend the Gala.

Identification and Registration Requirements

Every guest must:

  • Bring the same valid government-issued photo identification used during registration.

  • Have access to the email account provided during registration.

  • Ensure that the information on the identification matches the registration information.

These security requirements are mandatory for every guest boarding the ship. All guests must remain with the group at all times.

Conclusion and Return Transportation

The onboard program is expected to conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m. Guests will then proceed through the ship’s disembarkation process. We should return back to parking garage K by 3:00 p.m.

After disembarkation, complimentary shuttle buses will transport all guests from Cruise Terminal A back to Garage K.

Please Plan Accordingly

We strongly encourage all guests to arrive early and come prepared with the required identification and registration information.

“We believe seafarers can become radiant ambassadors of Christ’s love, joy, kindness, and servant-hearted leadership. Whether they’re caring for guests aboard a cruise ship or laboring behind the scenes on a cargo vessel, our prayer is that they would shine the light of Christ wherever they go. We believe deeply in the transforming power of the Gospel—not only in their personal lives, but in the way they serve, lead, and bless others through their daily work.”

Annual Gala Photos

“As recently reported in Baptist Press, the International Seafarers Ministry of Miami stands in the gap during moments of both crisis and routine, offering chaplaincy, prayer, and spiritual care to men and women from over 100 nations.”
