OUR MISSION: At our core, our ministry exists to share the love of Jesus Christ by welcoming, loving and caring for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all international seafarers (cruise or cargo ship workers) who pass through PortMiami. We want them to feel our place like their home away from home.

We are in the business of loving and caring of people: men and women who had to leave their families (parents, wife, husband, children) to work and support them.

We either welcome them at our International Hospitality Center located right across Terminal “F”, or we go visit them at the ships. We spend time with them and offer our sincere and genuine friendship, emotional and spiritual support, an ear to listen to their needs, and, if the opportunity presents, a sincere prayer for them and their families, so they may find comfort and joy in their faith in God.

OUR FREE SERVICES: Our ministry is here to care for all Seafarers and make sure they are well and happy during their staying in Miami. Our ministry offers free services for them to enjoy such as a comfortable air conditioned facility, clean restrooms, free Wi-Fi, free delicious snacks, hot coffee and chocolate, iced team, and cold water.

EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT: We also offer free pastoral care. Emotional and spiritual support for crew members, men and women, who are seeking pastoral care and someone to pray for them, words of comfort,

• Hours of operation for Crew Members: Mon to Sun 9am to 3pm (except major holidays, and days when there are no ships docking).

• The International Seafarer Ministry of Miami is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

• Important mailing info: The Seaman Center, The Seaman Cafe and the International Seafarer Ministry share the same mailing address. All mail and packages arrive in the the Seaman Center - Crew Member Services trailer.
